Miyawaki Method
Identify a site. Partner with landowners: schools, cities, churches, or private land owners to plant a mini forest!
Prepare the soil well. Dig to at least 12 inches. Hand tools or machinery can be used to aerate the soil.
Add compost. And mix together with the existing soil. In the end the soil should be so soft that you can scoop it with your hands!
Size of plot determines number of plants.
This plot is about 300 square meters.
Plant 3 seedlings per 1 square meter.
